When you think of the Women’s Institute you might picture silver haired pensioners sipping tea and chatting about their ailments! However, the WI has changed and in Radley WI we have over 30 members of all ages from various walks of life. We come together to meet like minded people, to build the community and to learn new skills over a cup of tea or an occasional glass of wine!

Hello and welcome to the Radley WI website.
We are a group of 31 friendly and welcoming ladies from all different backgrounds, who meet the 1st Thursday of the month at 7.30 in the Church Room of St James the Great Church, Radley. The program we have for the year is as always very varied & interesting. Sometimes it’s listening to our invited speaker others times it’s taking part in an activity but we always stop for tea, biscuits and sometimes cake, giving us a chance to socialise.
New members are always welcomed, why not come along to one of our meetings and learn more, either contact myself or just turn up we would love to see you.

Radley WI is part of a huge National Federation of women across the UK. To find out more click the link below:

As President Carol says, we have a varied and interesting programme. This is managed by our Programme Officer Sue Burnage. You can find out about this year’s programme by clicking the link below.

Radley WI prides itself in being part of the Radley Community. It participates in several events throughout the year, partly to seek new members, and mainly to be part of the village’s life. You do not have to live in Radley – several of our members live in Abingdon.

Radley WI is managed by a committee made up from our members. They work hard to ensure the WI runs well, that there are funds in the bank and the admin is up to date. The committee changes every March and we are always looking for members to join it.

Radley WI is always seeking new members. If you like what you see, and are interested in getting involved, please click the link below.
